About Me

Dodong aka Ka Kiko
I am Dodong aka Ka Kiko. I created this blogspot in protest of the continuing manipulation of public opinion by the commercial mass media. By following its content and conduct since the People's Power Revolution of 1986, I have come to believe that the mass media has more often than not, become tools of propaganda to promote the vested economic and political interests of its private stakeholders, to the detriment of the public interest. People say that the mass media is the fourth branch of government. I agree and further say that it is the strongest branch of government, specially in a democratic country like ours. I finally say that being the strongest, mass media is also the most corrupt branch of government. It holds and abuses from time to time, the power to convict the innocent and acquit the guilty, without any consideration whatsoever for fairness and the truth. Mabuhay!
